About Us

Kyle of Tongue Cottages is a small family business run by us, Barry and Emily Allsop. We offer unique, dog friendly, self-catering accommodation to visitors to the idyllic Melness to Bettyhill area of the north coast of Scotland on the NC500. All properties are within easy reach of the North Coast 500 (NC500) by car, motorbike, bicycle or even on foot - perfect for a peaceful break, romantic getaway or a stop over to get a good nights rest before continuing your trip! We work really hard to ensure that all our guests have as great a stay as possible and are always delighted when guests leave a lovely review about the services we have provided. When we are not looking after our Kyle of Tongue Cottages guests, we run a small croft (smallholding) with rare breed sheep, pigs and hens . We also sell eggs, pork and lamb and wool. After booking you will be sent details of all local restaurants and attractions and also asked if you would like to pre-order any of our croft reared produce.
